Accessing the Recipes Section:

1. Sign in to the system with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the "Stock" section and select "Recipes".

Understanding the Recipes Page

• Header:
  • Recipes: The title of the page.
  • “Add Local Recipe” Button: Allows you to add a new Recipe to the system.
• Recipe Filters:
  • All Recipes: Displays all recipes on your system.
  • Main Recipes: Displays all your main recipes.
  • Sub-recipes: Displays only your sub-recipes (recipes within recipes).
  • All Types: Displays all types of recipes.
  • Manufacturing: Displays only your manufacturing recipes.
  • Menu: Displays all recipes that are linked to your selling items.

• Recipes List:
  • Columns:
    • Recipe Name: The name of the Recipe.
    • Description: The description that was given to this Recipe.
    • Recipe Cost: The calculated cost price of this Recipe.
    • Recipe Type: The type of recipe - Manufacturing, Main or Sub Recipe.
    • Level: A location level Recipe or a business level Recipe.

• Adding a Recipe:

  • Basic:

    • Recipe Name: The name of the Recipe.
    • Description: The description of this Recipe.
    • Manufacturing Recipe: If the Recipe is manufactured at you business.
    • Calculated Recipe Cost: The cost of the Recipe that gets automatically calculated including all ingredients and sub-recipes.
    • Linked Menu Item: Allows you to link this Recipe to your menu item.

    

  • Components:

    • Add Component: Allows you to add multiple different components to this Recipe.
      • Type (Drop Down): The type of ingredient.
      • Select Ingredient (Drop Down): Allows you to select a ingredient to this Recipe.
      • Quantity: The amount of the ingredient that is in the Recipe.
      • Unit: What unit of measure you wish to use for this ingredient.
      • Save Button: When you have completed the Recipe.
