The system allows for the management of discounts at two levels:

1. Business Discounts: Discounts applicable across all the locations linked to this business.
2. Location Discounts: Discounts specific to a particular location.

If you are not part of a multi-location business, all discounts will be Location Discounts.

Accessing the Discounts Page

1. Sign in to the system with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the "Settings" section and select "Discounts".

Understanding the Discounts Page

If you are not part of a multi-location, you will only see Location discounts.

Both Business and Location discounts have the following, they are just split into 2 sections for easy management.

• Columns:

  • Name: The name of the discount (e.g., "Pensioners," "20% Discount").

  • Code: A code that could be used for API financial pulls (e.g., "FREE").

  • Amount: The discount amount, either as a percentage (e.g., "25%") or a fixed amount (e.g., "50.00"). "Custom" is also an option.

  • Active: Indicates whether the discount is currently active (e.g., green checkmark).

    

Functionality:

• Search: A search bar allows users to find specific discounts.
• Pagination: Controls at the bottom allow users to navigate through multiple pages of discounts.
• Rows per page: A dropdown allows users to change the number of discounts displayed per page.

Adding a New Discount

1. Start Creating: Click the "ADD DISCOUNT" button.
