The Devices module allows you to create and manage devices connected to the system. You can view device information, update configurations, and manage device activity.

Accessing the Module

1. Sign in to the system with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the “Devices” section and select "Devices".

Understanding the Interface

• Config Version: Displays the current configuration version of the devices.
• UPDATE Button: Click this button to update the configuration of all devices.
• Batch Actions: RELOAD Button: Click this button to reload or refresh the device list.
• Search Box: Use this box to search for a specific device by name or IP address.

Managing Devices

View Device Information:

• The table displays the following information for each device:

  • Active: Indicates whether the device is active (checked) or inactive (unchecked).

  • Name: The name of the device.

  • IP: The IP address of the device.

  • Last active: The date and time the device was last active.

  • Configuration: Device-specific configuration details.

  • OS: The operating system of the device.

  • App Version: The application version installed on the device.

  • Config Version: The configuration version status of the device.

    

Activate/Deactivate Devices:

• Check or uncheck the "Active" checkbox to activate or deactivate a device.

Edit Device Details:

• Click the edit icon (pencil icon) at the end of each row to open the "Edit Device" interface.

  

  Understanding the Edit Device Interface

  The "Edit Device" interface is divided into three tabs: "DETAILS," "CONFIG," and "ACTIONS."

  • Title: "Edit Device" (The device name may vary).
  • Tabs: "DETAILS," "CONFIG," "ACTIONS"
  • "X" Button: Closes the "Edit Device" interface.

When any changes are made on the edit device section, remember to save, select the square on the left hand side and click on the reload button.

The reason for the reload is so that whatever changes happen in the back office, the device gets updated as well.
